Pyeongchang Kensington Gardens Walkway

Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang, Embroidery Garden, Wow Daegwallyeong Hanwoo with a 12 month baby in June 2023

After having fun at Kids World, we checked in and unpacked our bags.

And we went for a walk in the 20,000-square-foot wide garden and forest in front of the hotel. When you enter the garden, the first thing you see is a beautiful pond and fountain.

A beautiful landscape of mountains and fields unfolds, and a refreshing fountain appears in the middle of the garden.

It was hot in the late afternoon of early summer, but it was cool to see the fountain.

After the walk, we headed out for dinner. This area is famous for Korean beef, so there are many Korean beef restaurants nearby. We decided to go to ‘Wow Daegwallyeong Hanwoo’, which is a 10-minute drive from Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang.

Wow Daegwallyeong Hanwoo is so delicious
This is a butcher shop and a restaurant. You can buy the meat you want at the butcher shop and then grill it in the restaurant. There is a separate table fee of 4,000 won per person. Table fee is free for children under 6 years old.

Let’s eat delicious Korean beef and have strength while traveling with a baby♥

It was when Yeoyoo was a 1 year-old-baby. Yeoyoo had a hard time sitting still, so it was hard for us to sit down and eat peacefully at the same time. Still, we took turns eating diligently.

(There aren’t many pictures of the restaurant because we took turns eating while looking after the baby. )
